Feliway Comfort Zone® Plug-In

Feliway Comfort Zone Plug-In provides your cat all-day calming therapy for up to four weeks. It diffuses a natural substance, odorless to humans, that mimics a cat's facial pheromones to calm cats in stressful environments.

You've seen your cat contently rub her face on the furniture, corners of the room, bottom of curtains - and even you. She's marking her surroundings with special facial pheromones. These pheromones reassure her that all is well in her little world.

However, if something stressful disturbs your cat's environment such as a new pet, visitors, moving to a new home, or even rearranging the furniture, she may begin urine marking, scratching, or may even stop eating and interacting.

Used where the cat spends most of her time, Comfort Zone with Feliway will soon calm and reassure her once again, greatly reducing or completely stopping the stress-related behavior. Simply add Feliway liquid and plug into electrical outlet.

Pheromones are natural chemicals secreted by animals to communicate with others of the same species.

Comfort Zone with Feliway mimics the feline facial pheromone that helps a cat feel at home in his environment. When your cat rubs his face on an object, he releases this pheromone that marks an area as familiar and safe. So, when your cat senses this pheromone through his nasal passage, he recognizes it as familiar and does not feel the urge to urine mark or scratch.

Directions for Use:

1. Remove the bottle cap.
2. Screw diffuser onto the bottle and gently tighten.
3. Plug into an electrical outlet.
4. Continue use for 4 weeks to ensure no relapse in marking behavior.

For urine marking or scratching:
Use the Comfort Zone Plug-In with Feliway in the room where marking has taken place. If the cat marks several rooms (with a total surface area of more than 650 sq ft), place another plug-in in one of the other rooms that have been marked.

For loss of appetite or reduced desire to interact and play:
Use the Comfort Zone Plug-In with Feliway in the room most used by the cat.

We adopted three cats from the streets after two of our four cats died. Our 12 yr. old cat Kaylynn, wasn't very happy about it. Two of the three adopted cats were what I call "street" cats. They're used to making their own way and Kaylynn has had trouble getting them to learn that she is the "queen bee" around here. This has produced stressful living conditions for all of them. After adding several of the Comfort Zone's there is so much less growling, and everyone is getting along much better! They have definitely made a difference in our household!

I have had lots of problems with aggression between my two cats. One of my cats is very timid and anxious and has always had accident problems. I bought several feliway plug-ins and placed them thoughout the house. I gradually noticed that his inappropriate soiling habits decreased. This has been a stress reliver for me as well as the cat. My male cat marked his territory by urinating in two different spots. He felt threatened by the neighborhood outdoor cats that kept coming up to the window to check him out. Since he urinated there once, he kept doing it over and over in the same spot and I couldn't get rid of the odor. This product is great! I have four cats and one was constantly marking his territory. It was very discouraging and I was at my wits end. I didn't know what to do about it. This product has changed my household so much!! I have three cats, two with a varied list of health issues. Our alpha cat started to go outside the litterbox and our youngest cat started getting very aggressive. This product REALLY WORKS! I have 3 cats and the youngest (the male) has litter box anxiety. It didn't matter how many litter boxes I added and where I put them, he would urinate on anything that was laying on the floor...towels, plastic bags, newspaper, mail, clothes and then the indoor/outdoor carpet in my sunroom. My vet-tech sister told me to try the comfort zone plug-in. I put it in the sunroom and about a week later, the anxious urination stopped. If the bottle runs out, he lays under the plug in and cries until I put a fresh bottle on the unit. My sister also recommends using the spray version in the kennel for vet trips--it works! I was apprehensive at first to buy this product but I was at wits end. I have four cats but was only having problems with "Mama". She was defecating and urinating in the family room on the carpet. Thank you for giving us our cat back! When we first introduced a dog to our 14 year old cats, one cat became very manic and lived upstairs mostly under the bed. She also started urinating on the carpet in the middle of a spare bedroom and we couldn't figure out why. Feliway works miracles! I have a playful but aggressive male who would almost nightly cross the line and attack my two other cats. He doesn't know his size or strength. Once it would start, there were usually multiple episodes, sometimes requiring timeout in another room. Unfortunately for me, it was frequently after I got into bed. The Feliway diffuser has made a night and day difference. There are occassional bouts, but usually when I've failed to check the diffuser and the solution has run out. There is no odor. It is remarkable. I would recommend it for similar issues two thumbs up!

I have three cats: two females and one male. A new cat moved into the neighborhood, which upset my male cat. He began being aggressive with the two females. I was skeptical that the Feliway Comfort Zone Plug-In would work, but I can tell you it really does. As a matter of fact, one way of knowing they are getting very low or out, is by observing the male cat - he starts getting aggressive. Within a few hours of putting in new refills, he stops the aggressive behavior.

I'm so happy my vet told me about this product, because it actually works! I really didn't want to give my cat pills. For one, most cats don't like getting pills shoved down their throat in the first place, and second I had hoped that there was an alternative to medicating him. I started using this product due to one of my two cats getting nasty with the other. The vet and I had no clue as to why this was happening. These cats were litter-mates, have been together their entire lives (10 years), have always been the best of friends, and there wasn't any new family members or other changes in the household. It started very gradually over a year or two of the one cat hissing and acting as if he was going to attack the other. Then it changed almost over night to him acting nasty and actually trying to attack the other cat 24/7. Verses once or twice a month and passing usually within an hour. It was about the time for their annual vet visit so I made the appointment. The vet spoke of a few possibilities and wanted to do blood work and other tests to make sure there wasn't anything else going on, which we did. Everything came back normal. She told me about the Feliway diffuser and I figured I'll give it a shot. Thinking that it wasn't going to work. Gradually over the next month he was improving. Thinking maybe whatever was going on with him before had stopped he would be fine without the diffuser once it ran out. I was horribly wrong, all of his bad actions came flooding back. Needles to say, I bought more refills and also another diffuser to ensure the entire house was covered, and haven't looked back. I would and have recommended this product to people having similar issues. I can't thank the makers of this product enough or to my vet who told me about it. All I can say is- give it a shot like I did, and you won't be sorry!

I have three cats, two of which were adopted. The newest addition, Roo, came to live with me about 6 years ago. He was always extremely nervous around everyone, even me.
