Can meaty rawhide treats help promote dental health?
A.
Most people think of meaty treats as soft, chewy morsels. However, today's meat treats are available in both chewy and crunchy varieties. Chewy varieties offer your dog a soft, tender treat with irresistible meat flavor. Hard and crunchy meat treats pack a satisfying crunch, as well as the ability to scrape tartar and plaque off of teeth and stimulate gums.
Treats are better for your dog than table scraps and are fine to be given at any time. However, they should not affect meals, and should constitute no more than 10% of your dog's diet. This is especially important for overweight dogs. Regular treating, rather than regular feeding of table scraps, can also help you avoid table scrap-related problems - begging, malnutrition, weight gain, digestive problems, and picky eating.
Should I supervise my dog while he is chewing a rawhide treat?
A.
We recommend supervising your dog while he is chewing a rawhide treat and taking away smaller pieces he has chewed off to minimize the extremely rare risks of choking and intestinal blockage.

My 4 LOVE Dingo Bones. Every morning when i leave Lucy, Piper, Amber, and Charley sit nicely for there dingo bones. And when they are done they have only the knotted ends left and they get scattered around the house and hidden so no one will find them. Thank you for selling these bones and making sure my babies never run out of there favorite bones.
We, as dog owners, love to give treats to our dogs as much as they love to get them. But when you treat your dog, it is important not to just hand them any treat and walk away. Know your dog's eating habits and choose treats appropriately.
