Using your Bird Bunker
Simply suspend the bed from the cage wires using the included metal quick clips. For best use, place the bed in a location that is easily accessible by your bird. Your bird will use the bed for sleeping, hiding, and even playing as he tunnels his way from open end to open end.
Cleaning your Bird Bunker
For quick cleans, simply spot clean with a damp cloth. For more thorough cleanings simply hand or machine wash with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse and air dry thoroughly before returning to your pet's environment.

I bought the Bird Bunker last winter... it took a while for my parakeets to take to it. I have never seen either of them sleep in it, but they both love to scramble up on top of it and perch on its roof. They also like to hang upside from it and rub against it. They also seem to find it comforting to "preen" the lining. I have noted Harlequin going through it on several occasions too!
My Sun Conure loves this. He sleeps in it every night and hangs out in it sometimes during the day! He has pretty much destroyed the whole thing (he is a big-time shredder) and he is a fabric chewer so that didn't really surprise me...you should see some of my shirt collars! It's been 3 months since I bought it and he is due for a new one but it is worth it for him to be warm and comfy at night. If you have a bird that does not chew, it will certainly last much longer! I like that it has a sturdy bottom.
I have a Quaker parrot and he loves this house, this will be our 3rd one in 2 yrs. They are great for cleaning, I just throw it in the washer and dryer. He is a chewer and has put a huge hole in it. If you bird is not a chewer, it is very durable and will last a long time. I highly recommend it.
