Compact, quiet fountain gives kitty a continuous flow of filtered water at a great price! Water tumbles down and re-circulates through a three-layer filter to keep cats hydrated, happy and healthy. Compact size is great for travel use, too.
The fountain's three-layer carbon/poly filter removes impurities, to provide a steady supply of fresh, clean water. Most cats love the sound of moving water, and may drink more when a fountain is available compared to a stagnant bowl. All parts, except removable pump, are dishwasher safe. One-quart capacity. Includes AC adapter and 6 ft cord; plugs into a standard outlet. 7" x 11" x 4". Gray/Black.
Replacement Filters available. We recommend you change the filter every two to four weeks, depending on the number of pets using the cat fountain.
Please click on "More Information" for cleaning and filter replacement instructions.
Cleaning your fountain
To clean your fountain, unplug it from the outlet and disconnect the cord from the AC adapter. Next, remove the fountain housing cover. Take the rubber top off the cord housing. Then, lift away the pump (it is suction-cupped to the bottom of the fountain. While holding the pump, pull its cord through the cord housing to remove it completely from the unit. Also, remove the filter. Then, place the fountain top and bottom in the dishwater, or wash with hot, soapy water and a soft brush to remove buildup. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Then, reassemble the unit and refill.
Replacing filters
Remove old filter.
Rinse each new filter before use to help remove any loose bits of charcoal.
Remove the fountain housing cover. Insert filter horizontally into the fountain housing grooves with white side facing the front water reservoir.
Slide filter down until it is flush with the bottom.
Replace the fountain housing cover.
Filters should be changed approximately every two to four weeks depending on the size and number of pets using the fountain.

I bought this to test my cats to see if they would like it. I was surprised to see both cats going to it and drinking almost immediately, also my German Shepherd and my two ferrets. Needless to say, I will be ordering another for my ferrets and a larger one for my dog. I am very pleased with it and have only had it one day!
My cat used to play in water that was standing in a regular drinking bowl and she is thrilled with this fountain and no longer makes a mess of the floors and walls surrounding her drinking area. Thank you for solving a problem we have had for many years.
I bought this because I was desperate. My two cats were always moving the water bowl around, their meowing and constant need for me to change the water was getting on my nerves. I must say I'm very pleased with the immediate results. The female went straight to drinking water without moving the fountain or making any noise whatsoever. The male was a little skeptical at first, but at the moment of this review, he had drank twice from it and was even playing a little with the water (without moving the fountain as well). So overall, I recommend this product to anyone. Excellent choice and is not quite expensive as some of the others.
